FROM ANY PAGE
• Click the PetFreeHotels title to return to the top of the screen.
• Click the US map icon at the top of the screen to display the US State menu.
• On the menu, you can click a button to list the pet-free hotels for a particular state.
• Or, enter a location or airport code and click the 🔍 button to list pet-free hotels in the area.
• Local searches start at ±10 miles latitude. If there are few results, the area expands to ±20, 30 or 60 miles.
• If there are no results within 60 miles latitude, then statewide results are displayed.
THE RESULTS MAP
• On the Results page, click the Map On/Off tab to reveal or hide the state map.
• Only the hotels in the table are shown on the map. Zooming out does not add more results.
• Double-click a point on the map to zoom in on that area.
• Use the + and – buttons on the map to zoom in and out.
• Click the STATE button on the map to show all results in the current state.
• Click a pin on the map to reveal the hotel’s name and pin number.
• Click the hotel pin number on the map to find that hotel in the results table.
THE RESULTS TABLE
• The results table shows the pin numbers, the locations, and the names of the hotels.
• Statewide searches are sorted alphabetically, local searches are sorted north-to-south.
• Click on the hotel’s pin number to display the map and zoom in on that hotel.
• Or, click the location name to find the hotel on a Google map (opens a new page).
• Or, click the property name to view the hotel’s pet policy page (opens a new page).
Note: On some hotel sites, viewing the pet policy requires extra navigation. For Wyndham hotels, you may have to click the “Hotel Policies” link to view the pet policy. For some Marriott, Hilton and IHG properties, you may have to scroll to the FAQ area and click the pet policy question. For other IHG sites, you may have to click the “View Prices” button. For Choice hotels, you may have to click the “View All Amenities” button.
